Raila Odinga Son Fidel is no more

Kenya former Vice president Kalonzo Musyoka has called upon the Police to investigate with speed and accuracy the sudden death of Fidel Odinga. Musyoka noted the deaths of Mutula Kilonzo, Otieno Kajwang’ and now Fidel leaves a lot of questions in the minds of Kenyans.

Rowdy youths took to Ngong Road in Nairobi and adjacent streets to protest the death of  former Prime Minister Raila Odinga's son Fidel Odinga Sunday afternoon. The youths mainly from the populous Kibera back yard,  a strong political base of Raila which he represented in parliament demonstrated demanding to know the cause of his death. They pelted motorists with stones and blocked the roads before swift action from police who moved in to disperse them. Police advised motorists and shoppers to watch out for their safety and avoid the volatile disturbance-prone areas surrounding the populous Kibera slums saying there were hooligans who want to take advantage of the tragedy to cause havoc. The youths later marched to the home of Fidel in Karen disrupted members of the public, family and friends who had visited the home to condole with the family. Police had a difficult time trying to keep the rowdy youths at bay as they demanded to view the body of the fallen politician-cum businessman

Fidel Odinga, son of former Prime Minister Raila Odingahas been found dead in his Karen home, Nairobi in unclear circumstances. Police are investigating cause of death of the youthful businessman-cum politician. Police say preliminary findings show Fidel had been out Saturday night before he came home early Sunday morning. It's not clear what caused the death. A group of Members of Parliament and Senators trooped to Raila's home on receiving the news of the death. Officers handling the case say they want to know where he was last night and those he was with. In the meantime leaders from across political divide have started sending messages of condolences to the Odinga family. Machakos County Governor Alfred Mutua posted on Facebook page “My condolences to the family of Hon. Raila Odinga for the loss of my friend Fidel. He was such a lovely chap.
