Kenya Diaspora lobby group launched in UK

A Kenyan lobby group calling itself Kenya Hustlers Welfare Association (KEHUWA) has been launched in east London. The group aims to share collective experience with law makers and challenge mind-sets about politics in Kenyan as well as election process and many other issues through a peace initiative dubbed Zuia Noma (prevent conflict). Speaking in Barking, London the group’s chairman Mr Chris Kiburu said that Kenyans in the Diaspora feel marginalised by the government despite their immense economical contribution to the Kenyan GDP.
